Mark 14 says that Jesus’ soul was sorrowful even to the point of death while he was in the garden of Gethsemane and then later on the cross it seems like Jesus really did experience suffering and pain. And I know that Isaiah 53 describes Jesus as the suffering servant, but what I’m struggling to understand is how this fits with Jesus being God?
