Key questions answered in today's show:

1. Can you explain John 17:22 where Jesus prays that we would be one with him even as he is one with the Father?

2. Would the second commandment exclude making any images of the humanity of Christ? I would have to think that the incarnation of Christ at least casts this into a somewhat different light since the human nature of Christ was visible in human history. I imagine that if Peter James or John ever reminisced about what Jesus looked like they weren’t breaking the second commandment because they had a visual representation of Christ in their mind. Can we every visually represent the humanity of Christ in any way as in art?

3. I have been accused of being legalistic because I strive for holiness. At first I dismissed this but then as I looked into it, I realize that I could be a bit over zealous about disciplines that I have that are not spelled out in the Bible. From your understanding what is legalism and how do I pursue holiness without falling into that?

4. Does suffering come our way because we lack faith? Would having strong faith mean that I would be living in God’s perfect will and thus experiencing more of a blessed life?
